His journey began in Virginia, where he founded and scaled several companies, including Sunburst Construction—specializing in outdoor living spaces—and multiple Valpak direct marketing franchises serving small businesses across the United States. From Los Angeles to Fort Worth to the Washington D.C. metro area, Nam earned a reputation as a high-integrity leader who helps small businesses think big.

Alongside his wife, Nam Shakti (Cindy), a proud Mexican woman and President of NAM Tulum, they were deeply inspired by the sacred jungle, the healing ocean, and the ancestral energy that pulses through the land. What began as a personal retreat quickly became a new way of life. The couple made Tulum their home, raising their family in alignment with nature, spirit, and simplicity.

Juan is an entrepreneur, realtor, and business developer with a background in hospitality, gastronomy, and wellness. His career in Tulum began as Commercial Coordinator at CAD Real Estate Development, where he gained first-hand experience with large-scale projects and investor relations in the Riviera Maya.
As Director of Real Estate Sales at NAM Tulum, Juan guides buyers and investors through every stage of the purchasing process. His knowledge of local transactions and international clients, particularly from the U.S., Canada, and Europe—makes him an invaluable asset to NAM Tulum and its clients.
